About the Role:

Our client, a prominent organisation in the health and social care sector, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Communications Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of activities within the Workforce Directorate, particularly focusing on the Careers website team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, creative, and engaging written content for various audiences.
  • Simplify complex information for diverse stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
  • Update and maintain websites using the Umbraco content management system.
  • Support user research and utilise qualitative data to enhance audience engagement.
  • Participate in the creation of short-form videos, from pre-production to post-production.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website discoverability and engagement.
  • Manage projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across various levels.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant HND/Advanced Diploma or equivalent experience in a communications role.
  • Demonstrable experience in content creation, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in SEO, WCAG accessibility standards, and using content management systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and learning.
