Business Analyst - SFIA Level 4 (Consultant)
Location: Newcastle (with occasional travel)
Rate: £375 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Clearance Required: BPSS
Expenses: Covered for travel outside Newcastle
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join a government sector programme. This is a contract opportunity for a skilled consultant with a strong background in public sector delivery and experience working on large, complex programmes.
Key Details:
- The project is outcomes-based, with no fixed travel requirements. However, attendance at workshops and sprint ceremonies will be required a couple of times per month.
- The Statement of Work (SOW) is pending, but we are proactively identifying suitable candidates.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrates experience in government or public sector environments
- Strong understanding of public sector frameworks, governance, and compliance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence interacting across all levels from senior executives to delivery teams and end users
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workshop facilitation
- Ability to adapt to evolving project scopes and priorities
