Data Migration Analyst - sought by investment bank based in London - Contract - Hybrid
*inside IR35 - umbrella*
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Understanding of data migration principles.
- Good understanding of source control principles and version management.
- Knowledge of relevant file formats (XML, CSV, Text, JSON etc.), database, infrastructure
- Proven experience in IT projects with the ability to manage documentation such as WBS, RAID, and migration scope.
- Competency in analysing and interpreting data and producing high-quality written reports.
Desirable:
- Experience as payment operation staff in Banking industry
- Understanding of payments in the EMEA region, such as EUR SEPA payment, SEPA instant payment, GBP CHAPS payment, SWIFT international payment, Book Transfers etc.
- Ability to communicate complex migration issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of IT systems competence, with the ability to self-teach and mentor others in data migration processes.
