Alison Rochford

Associate Consultant
Hi, I’m Alison and I’m an Associate Recruitment Consultant at Harvey Nash Scotland within the technology specialisms team.

Having recently joined the business, I am focused on delivering a great recruitment experience for existing and new clients and candidates. In my role, I work closely with experienced consultants to support the contract teams’ hiring process. This includes candidate sourcing and screening throughout the recruitment lifecycle. I take the time to understand client requirements as well as candidate motivations to ensure the right fit for all parties.

I graduated from University College Cork in Ireland with a BA in Social Science and an MSc in Human Resource Management. I then spent 8 months as a HR Intern at a global beverage company before making a move into recruitment in Edinburgh with Harvey Nash.

Outside of work, I love travelling, going for long walks, and I especially love reading a good book.

The best piece of advice I have ever been given is “you don’t have to see the whole staircase to take the first step.”
