Nick Gillen

Principal Consultant

Hi, I'm Nick, a Principal Consultant based in the Harvey Nash Edinburgh office.

I work with a wide range of technology companies, specialising in Software Engineering recruitment. I recruit for multiple clients, from startups to multinational conglomerates, across a broad range of industries from healthcare to fintech. Within this I can recruit across any Object-Oriented language from Graduate Developer to Technical Lead.

Like many others I expanded my culinary horizons during lockdown and enjoy working my way through our various cookbooks at the weekend with my partner. I also enjoy attending Hibernian FC matches when I get the opportunity and recently have started trying to learn to play chess.

The best piece of advice I've been given is, "Don't take criticism from anyone you wouldn't ask for advice."
